Latest Minnesota Updates

Representative Zach Stephenson has introduced HF 3488 in Minnesota, which would provide a child financial compensation for their role in a monetized social media account, similar to existing Coogan laws. The Minnesota bill would also provide a right to privacy for these minors, allowing them to request a social media platform to permanently delete content in which they were featured.

Recently, HF 3488 has passed the House and is going through the Senate as SF 3496.
