Arkansas recently signed HB 1975 into law. This is a milestone law, as it not only guarantees that child influencers have a right to privacy and a right to financial compensation, but it also stipulates that child influencers of any age can request content deletion. This is a departure from past laws which require children to wait until adulthood to submit a content deletion request. The removal of an age limit gives children control over their digital presence, safeguarding them from identity theft risks, predators, and a variety of other online threats.
