HB 392 – The Child Digital Protection Act was signed into law in Montana on May 20, 2025!
February 2025:
Introduced on February 5th, 2025, Montana’s HB 392 just passed the State House! But not only that, it passed 100-0: 100 “Aye” votes and 0 “Nay” votes. This is a cause for celebration— another state is taking its first steps towards creating a safer digital world.
In a time of increasing political turmoil, this vote restores a sense of faith in humanity. It is comforting to know that no matter our differences, we can still band together to protect kids online.
